Wear Pink for Cora was mentioned on my newest blog crush. It’s a gorgeous site. They’re “card drops” remind me of Cora’s bow drops. I think I’m going to print some to drop with her bows.

Tumblr is a great place to upload and share pictures. Users can upload their pictures and stories, and I can publish them with on click! So, on the 30th, take a quick picture of yourself in pink, your child in pink, or you doing your good deed with a note about what you did.

I always, always, always read. But, sometimes I don’t respond. I’m overwhelmed. In a super, cool, fantastic, huge things are happening way.

Flat
I’ve been feeling flat. I feel like my blog posts don’t have any umpf, and in life I’m just sorta floating along right now. All the emotions from the past few months and maybe I’m numbing up. For sure overwhelmed.
I think it’s natural, but need to think of ways to reenergize soon. Hopefully after the move and with Ben’s continued improvement, I’ll be able...
Ignore the dirty house and the pile of stuff on the dog cage. Ben walked today!!!!!
Anonymous asked: I am so sorry for your loss. I know that the word sorry doesn't suffice. I haven't seen anywhere if you mentioned what CHD Cora had. I was very close to losing my son because of not having a pulse ox check. He crashed 24 hours after he was born and then told me it wasn't a heart defect. He has HLHS! Thank God, he is with me and 13 now. But i have read Cora's story and...
A new war
As we all know, I’ve been having much trouble with Mother’s Day this year. My friend Nicole Wardell posted this on her Facebook Wall:
“The little document which I drew up in the heat of my enthusiasm implored women to awake to the knowledge of the sacred right vested in them as mothers to protect the human life that causes them so many pangs.”—Julia Ward Howe
